Hosting Retainers and Development Retainers
**Refunds Policy**
Effective Date: 03/01/2022
**1. Introduction**
This Refunds Policy outlines the terms and conditions for canceling hosting support retainers with CoverMyWP (“Company”). By engaging our services, clients are bound by the terms outlined herein. Please read this policy carefully before making any commitments to our services.
**2. Hosting Support Retainers**
CoverMyWP offers hosting support retainers on both yearly and monthly billing cycles. These support retainers are designed to provide clients with ongoing support and maintenance services.
**3. Cancellation**
Clients may cancel their hosting support retainer at any time; however, the following notice periods are required:
**3.1 Yearly Retainers:**
Clients who have subscribed to a yearly hosting support retainer must provide a minimum of three (3) months’ notice prior to cancelation. The notice period begins from the date of the cancelation request and continues for three months thereafter. During this notice period, clients are responsible for all applicable fees.
**3.2 Monthly Retainers:**
Clients who have subscribed to a monthly hosting support retainer must provide a minimum of one (1) month’s notice prior to cancelation. The notice period begins from the date of the cancelation request and continues for one month thereafter. During this notice period, clients are responsible for all applicable fees.
**4. How to Cancel**
Clients may cancel their hosting support retainer by contacting our customer support team via email at support@covermywp.com or by submitting a formal written cancelation request through our client portal.
**5. Refund Policy**
Our refund and returns policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange. Any changes made to your site will have to be rolled back to it’s original state at the start of the contract between you and CoverMyWP to be able to qualify for a refund. Should you wish to retain work, a refund will be offered on a prorata basis.
Refunds
Once your site is inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your refund request. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 10 business days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
**5.1 Yearly Retainers:**
Clients who cancel a yearly hosting support retainer within the required three-month notice period are eligible for a pro-rated refund for any unused months beyond the notice period. Refunds will be issued within 30 of cancelation and will be processed via the original payment method.
**5.2 Monthly Retainers:**
Clients who cancel a monthly hosting support retainer within the required one-month notice period are not eligible for a refund for the current billing month. Refunds for any prepaid future months will be issued within [number of days] of cancelation and will be processed via the original payment method.
**6. Exceptions**
In exceptional circumstances, CoverMyWP reserves the right to make exceptions to the cancellation and refund policy. Such exceptions will be made at the sole discretion of the Company management.
